What started out as a sewing blog in 2015 has blossomed into an active and much-loved online store showcasing wearable, contemporary design patterns for the home sewist. Helen’s brings sewists together to share resources, sewing tips, showcase the work of fellow designers and help others with pattern hacks and DIY projects.

After 10 years of growth and success, Helen’s decided it was time for a fresh look. This was no easy task, as it involved migrating ten years of data from WooCommerce to Shopify.

Helen’s took advantage of our Tech Expertise services to plan and oversee the data migration.

Helen’s had literally outgrown their e-commerce platform, and was ready for a big, exciting change. Of course, that brought big, exciting challenges for our team. Helen’s needed a site that was user-friendly and performance-driven. They also had thousands of customer records and archived orders to migrate over from WooCommerce. We created a new, customized Shopify store for Helen’s (and yes, accurately migrated ten years of historical data to the new e-commerce platform). Helen’s took advantage of our Tech Consulting services to plan and oversee the data migration.
