MyCreds™ is a platform built by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC). Their aim is to make it easy for graduates at Canadian institutions to receive a digitally verified version of their credential.
In collaboration with credential verification company, Digitary, we developed a first impression that would encourage institutions and students need to become part of this platform. Our work started with a complete design process, where a simple menu structure provides users with immediate access to all their respective areas. Paired with a clear and prominent call to action, users are able to quickly find answers to common requests.
With this established, we began creating a layout that balanced modern design with subtle references to student focused elements and fonts. Animations aid comprehension by presenting content as a user scrolls down the page. This is incredibly useful in this post-secondary use-case, where language can be overwhelming for readers. This approach to design and animation is best demonstrated on the Members and FAQ pages, which reimagines a typical text experience into a comprehendible and visually-oriented design.
Other unique features include optimized dual-language support that allows translations to be managed easily.
We are incredibly proud of what we were able to accomplish with this site. By combining modern design and strong collaboration with experts, the effect shown through increased adoption with Canadian institutions is clear. We look forward to continuing this partnership with ARUCC and the MyCreds™ network for years to come.
