Our Approach
We collaborated with Wasserman to develop a site that both showcased BCCF’s reason-for-being, and engaged their audience.
Wasserman, one of SplitMango’s Design Partner agencies, came to us with a beautiful site design that reflected the Foundation’s values of hope and compassion. We collaborated with them to develop a site that both showcased BCCF’s reason-for-being, and engaged their audience. The website featured many different custom layouts and elements, and was built using WordPress with a custom CMS.
We streamlined the site’s functionality and developed a robust search function that would expedite a smooth, direct and simple way for supporters to obtain information, and donate to the cause. Because this would be a high-traffic site, we optimized the cache to ensure great load speed and performance. SplitMango provided dedicated support during development and launch, collaborating closely with BCCF and Wasserman throughout.
The Outcome
Our work has increased positive awareness for BCCF and helped them connect with people on a deeper level.
The website was developed to easily handle heavy traffic loads, ensuring smooth performance during peak fundraising periods and high-profile campaigns. Its scalable architecture allows the Foundation to expand functionality as needs evolve.
We’re proud of our team’s part in this collaborative effort to help the BC Cancer Foundation communicate more readily with the public, while providing timely updates about fundraising events and initiatives.
